Black bellied whistling duck

Size: Large, 20 -22 inches long.

Weight: 27-30 ounces

Where to look for Black Bellied Whistling Ducks: On or near ponds. 

Diet: Mainly seeds from grasses, sometimes small invertebrates.  Searches for food mainly at night in shallow water or nearby land.

Songs and calls:  not surprisingly, a whistling sound, high pitched
